Meet the Sixth Form Team

We believe in team work in the Sixth Form and therefore have a wide management team to ensure the needs of every student can be met.

 

Miss E. Speed, Assistant Vice Principal

Miss Speed is Assistant Vice Principal and is responsible for the strategic direction of the Sixth Form. She manages the Sixth Form Management Team and works very closely with them on all aspects of the Sixth Form. 

 

Miss E. Palin, Head of Sixth Form

Miss Palin is Head of Sixth Form and a teacher of Biology. She is in charge of the day-to-day running of the Sixth Form and tracking progress to ensure that every student achieves as highly as possible.

 

Mr S. Mason, Assistant Head of Sixth Form

Miss N. Cosgrove, Assistant Head of Sixth Form

Mrs G. Greene, Assistant Head of Sixth Form

Mr Mason, Mrs Greene and Miss Cosgrove are Assistant Heads of Sixth Form and teachers of Art, Psychology and MFL. They support Miss Palin in the day-to-day running of the Sixth Form and track progress, attendance and punctuality. 

 

Mrs S. Carter, Sixth Form Administrator

Mrs Carter is the Sixth Form Administrator and is based in the Sixth Form Office.  She is the first point of contact for both students and parents and can be reached via the main switchboard pressing option 3.  She works in support of the Sixth Form Management Team, dealing with student and parent queries, and helps in the processing of Sixth Form administration. This includes dealing with any forms that need to be signed and returned. Ms. Carter also manages the register for students signing in and out.

 

Ms S. Carroll, Lifeskills Leader

Ms Carroll, Lifeskills Leader offers support and advice in all aspects of the university application process.  She organises speakers into school to give career advice and also oversees preparation of students wishing to apply for Oxbridge.

 

Ms J. Marshall, Inclusion Manager

Ms Marshall, Inclusion Manager and her team offer support to students on an individual basis to support the emotional and academic needs of students. All advice and guidance given is dealt with in a confidential and sensitive manner. The aim of the Inclusion team is to support all students during their time in the sixth form to achieve their full potential despite any concerns they may have or problems they encounter.
